Job Hazard Analysis for Concrete
The Job Hazard Analysis workflow helps concrete contractors mitigate risks before forming, placing, or finishing. Crews assess formwork stability, rebar protrusions, equipment traffic, pump setup, weather, and curing compounds. The checklist records hazards, controls, PPE, and exclusion zones. Supervisors confirm communication signals, spotters, washout areas, and emergency access. Findings are reviewed at the pre pour meeting to align responsibilities. Crews also confirm PPE availability and hydration plans for hot pours. Standardizing this analysis reduces incidents, speeds inspections, and protects profitability while assuring clients of safe, durable results.
