Job Startup & Mobilization Process
Confirm HVAC techs have reviewed kickoff and scope
Ensure mechanical permit is posted and visible
Schedule delivery of duct, units, and hardware
Coordinate rooftop or indoor access for HVAC
Mark drop location for duct and units
Place fencing, HVAC staging, and wash station
Tape off duct install path and mechanical zones
Review install zones, ductwork order, and sequence
Provide duct and equipment layout sheets
Cover confined spaces, overhead installs, and PPE
Assign unit drop, duct run, and equipment hang
Begin HVAC daily log, time and materials
Confirm rough mechanical or duct test scheduled
Notify GC or PM that HVAC work has begun
