Review the house plans
Pick up the purchase order
Ensure the house is clean and free of debris
Stock materials and confirm they are ready for use
Inspect windows to confirm they are intact and undamaged
Install temporary stairs, handrails, and safety bracing
Cover and protect sinks, tubs, and countertops
Verify that cabinets are installed and undamaged
Cover ducts to prevent debris accumulation
Confirm that all house details are framed, including access holes, stairways, special ceilings, and scuttle holes
Check framing for accuracy, ensuring no bowed studs or nails protruding into drywall areas
Ensure the fireplace is set, level, and plumb
