Confirm erosion, grading, or haul permit posted near access
Coordinate excavation gear, fencing, and gravel drop-off
Open site gate, access road, or entry point
Identify gravel, erosion tools, and fence storage
Place erosion fencing, silt fencing, toilet
Define trench zones and excavation limits
Brief excavation crew on cut/fill sequencing and schedule
Distribute cut/fill maps and erosion sheets onsite
Review excavation, soil conditions, and site traffic
Assign cut, trench, and pad rough grading tasks
Start excavation log with soil notes and activities
Confirm erosion control or grading check
Send GC or PM update that site grading is active
