Pick up and sign for the plans
Receive the purchase order
Obtain the necessary permits
Ensure framing, such as chases, is complete
Install temporary stairs
Install temporary handrails
Ensure safety bracing is in place
Verify the plumber’s work is complete and pipes are installed
Clean the interior work area and remove debris
Clean the site and ensure it is free of debris
Confirm electricity is available
If units are to be set in the attic, frame the scuttle hole for access, floor the HVAC unit area, and ensure adequate working space
Verify that the house is roofed and shingles are installed
Ensure HVAC units are verified for correct type and tonnage
