Review the plans, including details for the finished basement
Receive or pick up the purchase order
Verify that rough inspections are complete and the house has passed inspections
Ensure the house is clean and free of debris
Inspect all windows to confirm they are intact and unbroken
Verify that exterior doors are weatherstripped and sealed

Confirm the bottom plate is sill sealed
Install temporary stairs, if required
Install temporary handrails
Ensure temporary safety bracing is in place
Confirm HVAC ductwork is installed
Cover and protect ducts

Verify that exterior insulation and sheathing board are installed, undamaged, and repaired as needed with no gaps or missing pieces
